I am on vacation in Barbados and loving it. Every year when I come here I feel like a child again and want to relive my youth. Growing up in Barbados was wonderful. I had everything I want most of all I had freedom of space.

Strange Butterfly

I have been released from my shelter
And the wind has taken hold of me
She is like a warm comforting friend
When I am much too lonely
So I am in her hands now
Moving, I seek sweet nectar
Like the bands of other brothers
I am on the wing in quest of
Beautiful red or bright colored flowers
Scents has never taken hold of me
So my sight is my savoir.
But I am a strange butterfly
My comrades are calling me to feast
On the sweets of blossoms they have found
Yet, I have no interest, no force
I see a flower in a distance
And I ask the wind to be my sail
Could it be the flower I seek
In the wind a name is whispered
The sound is coming nigh
It is D R E A M E R.

Well, what can I say that have not been said. I believe her photos document the mundane, the inequalities, the harsh realities, they speak in all tongues.

PEACE.

Sometimes in life we do not get the chance to meet a host of wonderful people. And it is more so when you are over 40. But once in a while you come into contact with someone who you feel you have known forever. Well, this person is Dreamer.

I feel her poetry. I feel her person. There is just something there. And I hope we cane meet someday and share a few laughs.
